There’s still almost a week to submit your application for translation and printing grants in the final application round of the year! The deadline is Sunday, 1 November, at 11:59 PM (23:59 Finnish time).
Translation and printing grants are available for international publishers, while Finnish publishers can apply for grants to translate fiction and non-fiction into Finnish. Funding is also available for sample translations and readers’ reports.
Publishers operating in French- and German-speaking Europe will continue to be guaranteed funding covering 70% of the applied amount based on the translator’s fee, provided that the application meets the eligibility criteria and is approved by the advisory board.
You can find the application guidelines and forms on our website here.
