The value of Finnish literary exports, 2011–
Every year, FILI commissions an external analyst to produce a report on the value of literary exports. We have been monitoring year-on-year developments in these figures since 2011.
Each report analyses revenues coming into Finland from abroad as a result of translation rights deals, including advances and royalties.
Figures do not include authors represented by literary agencies outside Finland, so the total actual value of literary exports is significantly higher.
