The next application period for FILI’s grants begins on April 1st . We will now be reverting back to retrospective payments. This means that in the future, support will only be paid to publishers when a completed book is presented to FILI.
We have piloted advance payments since 2013. The Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture has revised its guidelines, according to which, advance payments will not be a permanent practice.
