HIAP (the Helsinki International Artist Programme) and FILI offer a residency programme for translators of Finnish literature at Suomenlinna near Helsinki. The next three-week-long residency has been booked from 1 to 22 March 2015.
The residency programme covers travel, accommodation and a stipend. Accommodation is in guest rooms with a private bathroom as well as kitchenette, fridge, dining table and desk. There is internet access in the rooms, and HIAP’s office has a printer and scanner.

The period for submitting applications is 15 May – 13 June 2014. Applicants will be notified of the decisions in June 2014.
