A workshop for translators of children’s and young adults’ literature starts today! 10 great foreign translators of Finnish literature for three days in Helsinki diving into the special features of translating Finnish children’s and youth literature under the leadership of Johanna Kuningas and Janina Orlov. Participants in the workshop are Mia Spangenberg (English), Dana Shulga-Raz (Hebrew), Giulia Santelli (Italian), Anete Kona (Latvian), Boleslaw Ludwiczak (Polish), Aleksi Moine (French), Özge Acioğlu (Turkish), Katalin Miko (Hungarian), Kadi-Riin Haasma (Estonian) ja Triin Tael (Estonian). The guests of the translators’ workshop are illustrator Anne Vasko and author Siri Kolu.
