Wydawnictwo Feeria has acquired the Polish rights to Lauri Nummenmaa’s EVIL: The dark side of the human mind (Pahuus, Tammi) from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Znanje has acquired the Croatian rights to the first two books in Satu Rämö’s Hildur series, Hildur and Rosa & Björk (WSOY), from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Heyne has pre-empted the German rights to Satu Rämö’s Tinna, the upcoming book #5 in the Hildur series (WSOY), from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Sheldon Press, part of Hachette & John Murrays, has acquired the World English rights to Kaija Puura’s How to raise the world’s happiest children (Näin kasvatat lapsestasi mukavan aikuisen, WSOY) from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Bec Editora has acquired the Brazilian Portuguese rights to Mika Waltari’s novel The Egyptian (Sinuhe egyptiläinen, WSOY) from Bonnier Rights Finland. 

Ühinenud Ajakirjad has acquired the Estonian rights to Päivi Lukkarila’s Deep in the Woods (Skutsi, Nokkahiiri) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Cerkabella has acquired the Hungarian rights to Ted Forsström and Åsa Lucander’s Stiven (Stivens fat är utan mat, Förlaget) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Ciceró Könyvstúdió has acquired the Hungarian rights to Salla Simukka and JP Ahonen’s The Secret Staircase (Poika ullakolla, poika kellarissa, Tammi) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Cerkabella has acquired the Hungarian rights to Riikka Jäntti’s Little Mouse and Little Mouse’s Christmas, books #1 and #3 in the Little Mouse series (Pikku hiiri, tuuliviiri & Pikku hiiren joulu, Tammi) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Doğan Kitap has acquired the Turkish rights to Max Seeck’s The Last Grudge and Ghost Island, books #3 and #4 in the Jessica Niemi series (Kauna & Loukko; Tammi) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Elust Enesest has acquired the Estonian rights to Johanna Aulén’s graphic novel Chernobyl’s Dogs (Tšernobylin koirat, WSOY) from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Libertine has acquired the Hungarian rights to Ida Pimenoff’s I wasn’t there (Kutsu minut, WSOY) from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Straarup & Co has acquired the Danish rights to Malin Klingenberg’s The Sisters of the Desert, book #1 in the Chronicles of Gibat series (Slättens systrar, Schildts & Söderströms), from Helsinki Literary Agency.

Heyne has pre-empted the German rights to Martta Kaukonen’s Free (Poissa, WSOY), book #3 of the Follow the Butterfly trilogy, from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Singel has pre-empted the Dutch rights to Michaela von Kügelgen’s Villa Hilda trilogy (Villa Hilda, Schildts & Söderströms) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.  

Laboratoria has acquired the Ukranian rights to Max Seeck’s Milo (Merkitty, Tammi) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Planet Zoe has acquired the Croatian rights to six books from Julia Pöyhönen and Heidi Livingston’s Miu series (illustrated by Larissa Saloranta, published in Finland by Kumma): Miu’s Day of Emotions (Miu ja tunteikas päivä), What Does Miu Need? (Mitä Miu tarvitsee?), Miu Wants to Go Home (Miu kaipaa kotiin), Miu and the Chain of Kindness (Miu ja hyvän kierre), Miu Grabs a Toy (Miu ottaa kädestä), and Miu Decides for Herself (Miu päättää itse). The rights were sold by Fanni Emotions.
