This week, Oü Hea Lugu has acquired the Estonian rights to Sophia Jansson’s Three Islands (Tre Öar – mamma, pappa och jag, Förlaget 2025) from Rights & Brands.
From the same literary agency, Moomin Baby Book (Muumi vauvakirja, 2025)’s Norwegian rights have been emptied by Cappalen Damm As.
Speaking of the Moomins, Lamberth Ap has emptied the Danish rights to Moomin and Little My. At Home (Muumi ja Pikku Myy. Kotona, Tammi 2025) from Rights & Brands, while Odiseja Publishing House has acquired the Serbian rights to Tove Jansson’s both Comet in Moomiland (Kometen kommer, Schildts & Söderströms 1946) and Finn Family Moomintroll (Trollkarlens Hatt, 1948) from Rights & Brands.
In Chile, Mis Ríces has acquired the Spanish World rights to Sanna Pelliccioni’s Tell Me Antonio (Kerro minulle Antonio, S&S 2023) from Rights & Brands.
Ari Turunen’s and Petri Laukka’s Good Sea, Bad Sea: The Stormy History of the Baltic Sea (Paha meri: Itämeren myrskyisä historia, Aula & Co 2024)’s Polish rights have been obtained by MT Biznes Sp. z o.o.. Non-fiction book from Rights & Brands.
Kirjastus Tänapäev has obtained the Estonian rights to Arto Paasilinna’s very well-known Sweet Poison Cook (Suloinen myrkynkeittäjä, WSOY 1988) from Rights & Brands.
Leidykla Helios Oü has bought the Estonian rights to Katri Kirkkopelto’s both Molli’s Christmas (Mollin joulu, Lasten Keskus 2022) and Molli and the Magnificent Pet (Molli ja suurenmoinen lemmikki, Lasten Keskus 2024) from Molli’s series from Rights & Brands.
Ullstein has acquired the German rights to Jenni Multisilta’s Dead Girls Don’t Dance (Kuolleet tytöt eivät tanssi, Myllylahti 2025) from Ahlback Literary Agency.
