FILI presents the Finnland. Cool. guest of honour at Frankfurt book fair project at the Turku International Book Fair this weekend. Author and journalist Roman Schatz and FILI’s director Iris Schwanck will discuss the topic “Is Finland cool”?
The Turku International Book Fair, held during the first weekend in October, will host the publication of two poetry anthologies : Six Finnish Poets from ARC Publications (UK), and 8+8, a Finnish-Estonian collection from the Estonian imprint NyNorden.
FILI is also organizing an event at which author Rosa Liksom and translator Lola Rogers will discuss the translation of the Finlandia award-winning book Hytti nro 6 (Compartment No. 6).
