FILI’s fall season starts with the eagerly awaited poetry translation workshop on Wednesday, August 24! 12 translators from different parts of the world will delve into Finnish poetry and they will be taught by Czech Michal Švec, who has a wonderful career as a translator of Finnish literature.
Writers Sinikka Vuola, Susinukke Kosola and Vilja-Tuulia Huotarinen will talk about contemporary poetry and their own work. The translators will also participate in the Runokuu programme on August 28 at 14-15. Welcome to follow the discussion about translating poetry at Runokuu!
