Laboratoria has acquired the Ukranian rights to Sanna Nyqvist’s By the Seashore: How Writers Discovered the Sea (Rannalla. Miten kirjailijat löysivät meren, Tammi) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.

Hardie Grant Books has acquired the world English rights to Laine Publishing’s 52 Weeks of Chunky Knits (52x muhkeat neuleet) and Veronika Lindberg’s Knits to Wear: Effortless Patterns by Kutova Kika (Kutova Kika – Rennot lempineuleet, Laine Publishing) from Rights & Brands.

Jensen og Dalgaard has acquired the Danish rights, and Takatuka S.l. the World Spanish rights, to Linda Bondestam’s Chop Chop: The Story of a Busy Robot (Chop Chop: En tapper jordbos berättelse, Förlaget) from Rights & Brands. 

Muza S.A. has bought the Polish rights to Ninka Reittu’s Tully and Roly the Pony (Ystäväni Pulla Vehnänen, Otava), Tully and Roly’s Night in the Treehouse (Pulla Vehnänen ja yö puumajassa, Otava) and Tully and Roly Meet Amazing Bob (Pulla Vehnänen ja ihmeellinen Paavo, Otava) from Rights & Brands.

Hea Lugu has acquired the Estonian rights to Michaela von Kügelgen’s Summer at Villa Hilda (Sommar på Villa Hilda, Schildts & Söderströms) from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.  

Aufbau has pre-empted the German rights, and Lindhardt og Ringhof the Danish rights, to Michaela von Kügelgen’s Summer at Villa Hilda (Sommar på Villa Hilda, Schildts & Söderströms) and its two sequels from Elina Ahlback Literary Agency – two parallel three-book deals.

Darcab Asesores S.l. (on behalf of Espilon and Icarem) has acquired the Spanish rights (Spain, Chile and USA regions) to Laine Publishing’s 52 Weeks of Accessories (52x asusteet) from Rights & Brands. 

Forlagid has acquired the Icelandic rights to Moominvalley Friends (Muumilaakson väki, based on characters by Tove Jansson, Tammi) from Rights & Brands.

Vigmostad & Bjørke AS has acquired the Norwegian rights to Moomin Bathbook Boxset (Muumipeikko rannalla, based on characters by Tove Jansson, Tammi) from Rights & Brands.

Èditions Cambourakis has acquired the World French rights to Tove Jansson’s Moomin Winter and Moominmamma’s Maid (Drawn & Quarterly) from Rights & Brands.

Tukan Förlag has acquired the Swedish (Sweden) rights to Where is Little My (Pikku Myy on piilossa, based on characters by Tove Jansson, Otava) from Rights & Brands.

Christian Bourgois Éditeur has acquired the World French rights to J. R. R. Tolkien & (ill.) Tove Jansson’s The Hobbit (Bilbo – en hobbits äventyr, Rabén & Sjögren) from Rights & Brands.

De Bezige Bij has acquired the rights to Tiina Raevaara’s A Short History of Eternal Life (Ikuisen elämän lyhyt historia, Otava/Like) from Elina Ahlback Agency.

Alexandra Kiadó has acquired the Hungarian rights to Kaija Puura’s How to Raise the World’s Happiest Children (Näin kasvatat lapsestasi mukavan aikuisen, WSOY) from Bonnier Rights Finland.

Mando has bought the Polish rights to Patricia G. Bertenyi’s We’re All Blind (Kaikki ovat sokeita, Tammi) from Bonnier Rights Finland.
