Mediawan Rights has acquired the rights to produce a TV series based on Max Seeck’s The Faithful Reader book series (WSOY).
Tatiana Elf’s Impostor (Huijari, Into, 2025) and Master (Mestari, Into, 2026) have been acquired by Storytel. This follows a recent deal in Iceland, where the rights were acquired by Drápa Forlag.
Meulenhoff has acquired the Dutch rights to Reetta Ranta’s Timeless Nordic Rituals (Rituaalikirja – Etsijän opas, SKS, 2023) and Sacred Trees (Pyhät puut, SKS, 2025).
Flammarion has pre-empted the French rights to Ted Forsström and Åsa Lucander’s The Blue Flame (Den Blå flammans följe, Förlaget, 2026) and Magdalena Hai and illustrator Heikala’s A Year of Tea and Magic (Teen ja loitsujen vuosi, WSOY, 2026).
Rahva Raamat has acquired the Estonian rights to Maria Vilja’s Juuli series: Juuli, Big Brother and the Wild Slide (Juuli, Isoveli ja hurja liuku, WSOY, 2025), Juuli, Big Brother and Five Raspberries (Juuli, isoveli ja viisi vadelmaa, WSOY, 2026), and the upcoming third Juuli book, The Stone Balloon (Ilmapallokivi, Karisto, 2026).
Rahva Raamat has also acquired the Estonian rights to Noora Kunnas and Teemu Juhani’s Mabel Merryweather series: Mabel Merryweather and the Miniature Pirates (Salmanterin Terttu ja minimerirosvot, Otava, 2019) and Mabel Merryweather and the King of Thieves (Salmanterin Terttu ja huijareiden kuningas, Otava, 2020).
The Estonian rights to Ted Forsström and Åsa Lucander’s Stiven (Stivens fat är utan mat, Förlaget, 2025) have also been sold to Rahva Raamat.
Lind & Co has acquired the Swedish rights to Sirpa Kähkönen’s Marius (Marius, Siltala, 2026).
Riikka Pulkkinen’s Little Swans (Pienet joutsenet, Otava, 2026) has been pre-empted in Estonia by Rahva Raamat.

IBIS has secured the Georgian rights to Maria Turtschaninoff’s Tangled Roots (Arvejord, Förlaget, 2022).

The Italian rights to Juulia Jylhävä’s Why We Age? (Miksi vanhenemme – Elinkaaren biologia tieteen valossa, Tammi, 2026) have been sold to Codice.

Münhakdongne Publishing Corp has acquired the Bulgarian rights to Tuula Karjalainen’s book Dear Tove: Letters from Children Around the World (Tove Jansson ja maailman lapset, Tammi, 2026).
The Indian rights to Tove Jansson’s The Summer Book (Sommarboken, Schildts, 1972) have been sold to Walden Publication India.
Wydawnictwo Nasza Ksiegarnia has renewed the worldwide rights to Tove Jansson’s books Comet in Finland (Kometen kommer, Schildt, 1968), Finn Family Moomintroll (Trollkarlens hatt, Schildts, 1948), Moominland Midwinter (Trollvinter, Schildt, 1957), Moominpappa at Sea (Pappan och havet, Schildt, 1965), Moominsummer Madness (Farlig midsommar, Schildt, 1954), Moominvalley in November (Sent i November, Schildt, 1970), Tales from Moominvalley (Det osynliga barnet, Schildt, 1962), Memoirs of Moominpappa (Muminpappans memoarer, Schild, 1968), and The Moomins and the Great Flood (Småtrollen och den stora översvämningen, Schildt, 1945).
