China Textile & Apparel Press has bought the simplified Chinese rights (for Mainland China excluding Hong Kong, Macaus and Taiwan) to Moominvalley Knits (Muumilaakson neuleet, Otava 2025), edited by Anna Rantamala. The deal was made in cooperation with PPW Sports & Entertainment (China) Limited.
HarperCollins Scotland has acquired the worldwide English rights to Tove Jansson’s illustrations of J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit (Swedish edition: Bilbo – en hobbits äventyr, Rabén & Sjögren 1962).
The Polish rights to Tuula Karjalainen’s Dear Tove – Letters From Children Around the World (Tove ja maailman lapset, WSOY 2025) have been bought by Społeczny Instytut Wydawniczy, in cooperation with co-agency Macadamia Literary Agency.
