At FILI’s invitation, more than 90 translation professionals who translate from Finnish or Finland Swedish will take part in the Helsinki Book Fair, 27–30 October, to meet book industry professionals and familiarise themselves with Finnish literature. At the fair, FILI is also organising two discussions on literary translation and a joint program with the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters. During the week of the book fair, FILI will also be holding a fellowship seminar and a creative writing workshop for translators. The final seminar of this year’s translation mentoring programme will also be held during the fair.
