Rights sold in April

AHLBÄCK AGENCY:

Riikka Jäntti’s Little Mouse children’s series is continuing its journey in Romania and Estonia! Editura Parela 45 has acquired the Romanian rights for Little Mouse Goes on a Cruise (Pikku hiiri laivalla, Tammi 2024) and Little Mouse Goes Flying (Pikku hiiri lentää, Tammi 2026). Rahva Raamat is publishing the Estonian translation of Little Mouse Goes Flying.

Aufbau Verlag has bought the German rights of Kaisu Tuokko’s Lies (Valhe, Otava 2025), which is the 3rd book of The Kristinestad Murders Series.

Many deals for Enni Amanda’s work! North Audio Publishing has acquired the Swedish, Danish and Dutch digital rights of The Holiday Grump (Lumi Publishing 2025), The Fall Roomie (upcoming) and Falling Madly (Lumi Publishing 2025). The Portuguese rights for The Holiday Grump have been bought by Edições ASA/Publicações D. Quixote.

Piper Verlag/Malik has acquired the German rights of Sohvi Kangasluoma’s Then We Sailed North: Notes from the Arctic Seas (Sitten purjehdimme pohjoiseen: Merkintöjä arktisilta meriltä, Atena 2026).

Dutch rights of Reetta Ranta’s Soul Birds (Sielulinnut, SKS Kirjat 2025) go to Meulenhoff Boekerij.

Unbound Script, India has required the World Hindi rights for Putin’s World War: Russia’s Covert Operations to Destroy the West (Putinin maailmansota: Venäjän salaiset operaatiot lännen tuhoamiseksi, Johnny Kniga 2024) by Jessikka Aro.

The Slovenian Mladinska knjiga Založba has bought the rights for Laura Lähteenmäki’s children novel Count Silently to Ten (Laske salaa kymmeneen, WSOY 2024).

The Finnish rights of Ted Forsström’s book The Blue Flame (Den Blå flammans följe, Förlaget 2026) have been sold to Orava Kirjat.

Logha Publishing has acquired the Arabic language rights for Ted Forsström’s and Åsa Lucander’s children’s books Stiven (Stivens fat är utan mat, Förlaget 2023) and Stella (Snälla Stella sluta skälla!, Förlaget 2025).

The Italian rights of Aki Ollikainen’s White Hunger (Nälkävuosi, Siltala 2012) have been bought by Edizione Forme Libere.

BONNIER RIGHTS FINLAND:

The Danish and Swedish audio and ebook rights for Christian Rönnbacka’s Hautalehto Series (Bazar 2012-2025) have been acquired by Gyldendal Astra.

The Lithuanian rights for The Age of Selfishness (Itsekkyyden aika, WSOY 2026) by Liisa Keltikangas-Järvinen have been sold to Alma Littera, while Park Uitgevers has acquired the Dutch rights.

Liegra has bought the Latvian rights for Noora Mustajoki’s and Bosse Hellsten’s Arctic Hustle (Arktis 1. Turisti, Gummerus 2026).

The Hildur Series by Satu Rämö is being published in the United States. Union Square & Co are publishing the first three books of the series: The Clues in the Fjord (Hildur, WSOY 2022), The Grave in the Ice (Rósa ja Björk, WSOY 2023) and The Shadow of the Northern Lights (Jakob, WSOY 2023).

The Polish rights for Hassan Blasim’s Sololand (Kelloja ja vieraita, WSOY 2021) have been acquired by ArtRage.

HELSINKI LITERARY AGENCY:

The Lithuanian Audioteka has bought the translation rights of Ann-Christin Antell’s Cotton Mill series. The historical romance series consists of three books: The Shadow of the Cotton Mill (Puuvillatehtaan varjossa, Gummerus 2021), Heir to the Cotton Mill (Puuvillatehtaan perijä, Gummerus 2022) and Rival to the Cotton Mill (Puuvillatehtaan kilpailija, Gummerus 2023).

Polar has bought the Hungarian rights of Leena Krohn’s Likeness (Näköisyys, Teos 2026), while the Danish rights have been acquired by Jensen & Dalgaard.

RIGHTS & BRANDS:

The Czeck rights for Pinja Meretoja’s Boobology: A Book About the Meanings, Myths, Burdens, and Liberation of Breasts (Tissilogia: Tietoteos rintojen merkityksestä, myyteistä, painolastista ja vapautumisesta, Tammi 2025) have been sold to Nakladatelství Paseka.

The Swedish rights for Tuula Karjalainen’s Dear Tove: Letters From Children Around the World (Tove Jansson ja maailman lapset, WSOY 2025) go to Förlaget.

The Norwegian rights of If You Meet a Bear (Om du möter en björn, Förlaget M, 2021) by Glaz Serup, Malin Kivelä and Linda Bondestam have been required by Cappelen Damm.
